GHD has won two business awards that recognise the company’s
contribution to the regions in which it operates.
GHD’s Coffs Harbour office was named ANZ Banking Group
Professions and Services business of the year at the recent 2007
Coffs Coast Business Awards. These annual awards recognise business
excellence in the Coffs Harbour, Bellingen and Nambucca Shires on
the north coast of New South Wales. GHD’s Ballina office was
awarded a 2007 Ballina Shire Business Excellence Award in the
category Professional Services in August. GHD Ballina also received
a Safe Business Award presented by WorkCover NSW, which was judged
across all 131 entrants.
The Coffs Harbour and Ballina awards were assessed on excellence
in customer service, staff training, community involvement, safety,
marketing and promotion, innovation, commitment to the environment
and financial growth over the past 12 months.
Says GHD’s Newcastle Operating Centre Manager Tasos Katopodis,
"GHD’s sustained growth in regional centres like Coffs Harbour and
Ballina reflects our commitment to aligning our local capabilities
with the increasing complexity and range of projects and services
that these growing regions require."
