GHD Wollongong doubles office size
International professional services company GHD and its new
partner GHD Meyrick have joined forces under one roof, renewing
their commitment to the Illawarra region.
The new offices in Market Street, Wollongong, consolidate the
existing engineering, environmental science, transport economics
and project management services offered by GHD into one
facility.
GHD Wollongong Office Manager Stuart Clark said: "The Illawarra
and South Coast are vibrant communities and GHD is proud to have a
local office to provide direct services and international
experience to the region."
The Wollongong office opened in 2005 as part of GHD’s ongoing
commitment to servicing regional centres across Australia. The
experienced team in Wollongong works closely with GHD Nowra to
provide integrated services to clients in the Illawarra and South
Coast.
In 2008, GHD strengthened its position in the transport,
economics and infrastructure markets through the purchase of its
alliance partner Meyrick and Associates, which has had a presence
in the region since 1991.
Steve Meyrick said: "Combining our offices will encourage
communication between our teams. This will help us to improve our
services to the local market and to generally strengthen our links
with other units within GHD. I look forward to working under the
