Business Review Weekly (BRW) last night honoured one of the
world's leading engineering, architectural and environmental
consulting companies, GHD, as one of the five finalists in the
BRW ANZ Private Business of the Year Award for
organisations with a turnover of more than AUD100 million.
Sitting amongst finalists including; AUSCOAL Super, Clayton Utz,
Freehills and winner Hansen Yuncken, GHD's inclusion in the
finalist listing demonstrated alliance with the award objective to
recognise the contribution private businesses make toward the
Australian economy, broader industry and its people.
Commenting on the achievement, Sonia Adams, Marketing &
Business Development Manager said, "The strength of the Australian
economy has always been underpinned by the innovation that is
largely driven by private business in this country. Notably,
almost all of the finalists play in the major markets outside of
Australia, with a particular emphasis on Asia, demonstrating the
importance of our interdependency on surrounding regions."
