GHD, one of the world’s leading engineering, architecture and
environmental consulting companies has been awarded the Australian
Business Award for Enterprise 2011.
Now in its sixth year, the Australian Business
Awards program recognises organisations that demonstrate the core
values of business excellence, product excellence, corporate
responsibility, sustainability and commercial success in their
respective industries.
More than 1000 entrants participated in the awards
in 2011, with GHD pitted against 85 other entrants in the
Enterprise category.
Speaking of the win, GHD CEO Ian Shepherd commented, “This
recognition acknowledges our robust systems, a commitment to our
clients, an active interest in innovation and surety in our
Strategy - each of which we are equally proud.”
The award represents a positive start to the new
financial year for GHD, with the company collecting more than 50
awards in 2010 across the global markets of water, energy and
resources, environment, property and buildings and
transportation.
