One of the world’s leading engineering, architecture and environmental consulting companies, GHD, has integrated with rail and infrastructure consultant CollinsonDutton Ltd (CDL). CDL, formed in 2001, has been working closely with GHD for several years in the UK. The combination of skills will provide an enhanced offering to clients across the globe in transportation and associated infrastructure. Both companies will continue to grow their presence in both the UK and Middle East through the expanded capacity allowed by the merger.

John Dutton, who was appointed GHD Manager UK in the transition comments, “This change offers us a heightened opportunity to grow the business, offering CDL employees the chance to work on larger projects worldwide. Having worked with GHD for some time, we have integrated to provide a robust offering, focused on continual service improvement that looks set to gain further momentum.”

Andy Collinson, who will become GHD’s Business Leader Rail for the Middle East and UK, said ‘The integration brings together two strong, proven teams. We are each very excited about the ability this gives us to further enhance the service we provide to both existing and new clients.”

The incorporation will involve the blending of teams in the UK, Middle East and various offices across Australia.

John Baird, GHD General Manager Middle East and Europe added, 'This merger further enables our strategy to develop a strong European transport business to serve local markets, and to support the development of our offering in the Middle East and across the globe utilising the one GHD network. We are delighted to welcome CDL's people to the GHD family.'
