One of the world’s leading engineering, architectural and
consulting companies, GHD, has appointed Tim Ferraro as Principal
Consultant - Natural Resources and Agriculture. Tim will work out
of the Dubbo office where he will serve a regional client base as
well as be involved in the company’s broader activities in natural
resource management and agriculture.
Tim joined GHD after more than seven years as the
General Manager of the Central West Catchment Management Authority.
He has worked in state and regional natural resource management for
nearly 20 years, the last 11 being in Dubbo.
In his new role, Tim will focus on resolving client
challenges in the management of natural resources, including
sustainability, water management, food security and the effects of
climate change.
Commenting on his new role, Tim notes, “GHD has a
long, rich history in Dubbo as a firm that delivers integrated
projects in water, energy and resources, environment, property and
buildings, and transportation. I'd like to see the region continue
to make the most of its natural assets and to grow and develop with
a triple bottom line focus and I believe GHD has a key role to play
in this area.”
On a personal note, Tim is training for his first
marathon and can be frequently seen running the Tracker Riley
Cycleway around the Macquarie River in Dubbo.
