One of the world’s leading engineering, architecture and environmental consulting companies, GHD, has been recognised at the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) Infinite Value Awards. The inaugural event aims to honour the hard work of, not only members of the AIQS, but the affiliated professions within the construction industry.

GHD’s project, the LAHC Nation Building - Economic Stimulus Program won the Government Project Award.  This award recognises the value and excellence of a local, state or federal government department or authority in its association with the property and construction industries.

All the winners of the project awards were then in the running to win the major award for the night, Project of the Year.  This award was judged on the project deemed the most impressive, innovative and valuable overall.  The LAHC Nation Building - Economic Stimulus program also won this award being pitted against a number of international projects that had won their categories.

The Program Director Steve Honeywell stated, ‘Special mention needs to go to GHD [led by the Commercial & Cost Management team] for their leadership in the area of cost management for the program’.  GHD has been instrumental in the many success enjoyed by the Program, including this most recent award.
