Gellie brings more power to GHD

One of the world’s leading engineering, architecture and environmental consulting companies, GHD, has appointed Adam Gellie as Business Leader for power in Victoria and the Asia Pacific.

GHD’s Manager – Victoria, Dean McIntyre said “Adam’s technical know-how, coupled with his commitment to leadership and collaboration will significantly enhance our service to clients in the power sector. His extensive knowledge and insight in major utilities and consulting in the power industry make him ideal to drive this business.”

Before joining GHD, Adam spent ten years at Hydro Tasmania, the largest renewable energy generator in Australia. In his role as Regional Manager, he was responsible for operations and instrumental in the company’s expansion in the power sector in Australia and the Pacific. 

Adam has led a number of high profile projects, including Tasmania’s National Electricity Market (NEM) entry project, the Gordon Power Station modernisation and Woolnorth Wind Farm Substation. He has also managed  client relationships with Transend Networks, SPAusNet, Powercor, and Citipower.
