GHD, one of the world’s leading engineering, architectural and environmental consulting companies, announced today that it has expanded its Canadian Business Consulting team with the addition of new faces focused on asset management.

“A robust asset management strategy can help organisations in the public and private sectors reduce costs, optimise service levels and realise tangible business value,” says Roop Lutchman, GHD’s Manager - Business Consulting in Canada. “Our team has enjoyed tremendous success over the past year and we are adding talent to help more clients realise improved returns on their assets.”

GHD delivers comprehensive asset management advisory services to public and private infrastructure projects around the world. The company’s professionals advise clients on asset management risks and opportunities, and frequently help build industry-leading in-house asset management capabilities as an endorsed trainer through the Institute of Asset Management.

“Here in Canada, we’ve been retained by several municipalities,” says Roop. “We have teams working with the City of Oshawa and the City of Vaughan on their corporate asset management programs. And we’re assisting the Town of Whitby with its transportation-related asset management strategy.”

New additions to GHD’s team in Canada include:

  • Craig Teske, who moves from GHD’s office in Brisbane. Craig has more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering planning and asset management, and has worked on projects in Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East. He speaks frequently on the topic of asset management at industry conferences.
  • Justin Wong, who joins GHD from a global steel manufacturer, where he held roles in asset management, reliability and maintenance, and process engineering.
  • Alvin Pilobello, who joins GHD from a major global engineering firm, where he focused on asset management, with particular attention on Canadian water and wastewater projects.
