One of the world’s leading engineering, architecture and environmental consulting companies, GHD, is proud to support the Singapore International Water Week on 1-5 June.

As part of the Water Convention, GHD’s professionals will discuss wastewater management innovations developed in collaboration with clients and partners.

Tuesday 3 June – Theme 2 B

Reliable wastewater infiltration and inflow reduction – providing new certainties for wastewater system managers will be presented by Steve Carne, GHD’s Water Manager in New Zealand. The new best practice guidelines to reduce wastewater inflow and infiltration are a significant advance in the planning of system improvement programs worldwide.

Wednesday 4 June – Theme 2 A

Providing affordable and sustainable wastewater treatment through optimal technology integration will be presented by Chris Hertle, GHD’s Global Market Leader – Water. Chris will outline novel treatment processes, which can achieve economic and environmental benefits, by reducing energy and chemical usage, while also improving nutrient and energy recovery.

GHD is also a sponsor of the International Water Association’s Project Innovation Awards, East Asia and Asia Pacific, which will be presented in Singapore on 3 June. Chris says, “For GHD, it’s an honour to support technical leadership and imaginative thinking to solve global water challenges.”
