Australasia-based design company GHDWoodhead has adopted the GHDWoodhead creativespaces brand for its operations in New Zealand.

The new brand follows the merger with Creative Spaces, a New Zealand architecture, interior design and fit-out company, on 1 December 2016.

It reflects the experience of the combined team and its focus on creating design that is intelligent, responsive, technically elegant and efficient.

GHDWoodhead creativespaces is now one of the leading architectural practices in New Zealand to offer interiors services from concept to occupation.

Wanley Simpson, GHDWoodhead creativespaces Managing Principal, Interiors, and formerly Creative Spaces Managing Director, says, “The Creative Spaces team is known for creating some of New Zealand’s most inspirational workplaces and public venues, and we have developed a strong reputation for regenerating public and commercial environments. Our creative intent continues to underpin our work as part of a larger and more diverse practice.”

Russell Hawken, GHDWoodhead creativespaces Senior Principal, says, “We continue to strengthen our integrated practice to create a better environment for all New Zealanders. Bringing together architecture with all design, planning and engineering disciplines appeals because it reduces the clients’ project delivery risk and provides simpler contractual relationships.”
