image

GHD was engaged in the contract management of Cooroy to Curra Section B, a 12km stretch from Sankeys Road to Traveston Road.

The second package of the contract involved the construction of a 2 km deviation at the southern end to divert Bruce Highway traffic and allow for the construction of Skyring Creek Bridge in Package 3. Package 3 works includes the construction of bridges and drainage structures and the remainder of the works including pavement, road furniture, asphalt, landscaping and safety features (guardrail, signage, line marking, help phones and lighting). This will alleviate a known accident black spot section on the National Highway and provide benefits to the community, travelling public and road freight industries.
