Carolyn Pappin is an award-winning spatial
professional and is GHD’s Service Line Leader for Spatial Sciences.
She leads a team of more than 120 people across GHD’s international
network to deliver business and technical solutions to industry.
With 20 years consulting, research and non-government organisation
experience, Carolyn has deployed hundreds of GIS solutions to
support strategic decision making within the context of natural
resource management, planning, tourism, infrastructure and
community development in Australia, the Pacific, Asia, South
America and the United Kingdom. Her extensive industry experience
includes advanced spatial analysis, including site and corridor
selection, scientific visualisation, GIS capacity building and
implementation planning, spatial project management and information
management. As a Churchill Fellow, Carolyn has undertaken advanced
cartographic and visualisation research at Oxford Brookes
University and Harper Collins in the United Kingdom. She continues
to contribute to the spatial industry as a Technical Advisory
Committee member for the Bachelor of Spatial Sciences program at
the University of South Queensland.
Carolyn is a certified Geographic Information Systems
Professional - Asia Pacific (GISP-AP) and brings significant
experience to the planning, scoping and delivery of spatial
information solutions.
