ALTC Headquarters

GHD worked on the new 1200sq m headquarters facility for the Albury-Wodonga Military Precinct in northern Victoria. The buildings incorporate environmentally sustainable design principles to utilise specific aspects of the landscape and the site.

GHD provided full architectural and engineering services for the design and construction of the Department of Defence Army Logistic Training Centre (ALTC) headquarters at Bandiana South. Ecologically sustainable development principles drove the building’s design, which employs an innovative geothermal heating system.

The facility occupies a prominent corner location on the site and is tailored to suit the gentle cross-site fall as a split-level facility. The building includes office accommodation, conference facilities, and foyer display and staff amenities.
