GHD was engaged by the New South Wales Department of Commerce
on behalf of Ballina Shire Council to develop a master plan and
concept design for the recycled water component of Ballina Shire
Council’s Urban Water Management Strategy.
GHD provided a master plan to drive water reuse targets and
developed concept designs for water reuse works and infrastructure
including storage, reservoirs, pipelines and pumping stations. GHD
also conducted a needs analysis for infrastructure upgrades,
prepared environmental impact assessments and carried out the
community consultation for the project.
