Beijing Technology Fortune Centre

The Fortune/Technology Centre is a major urban redevelopment project in the heart of Beijing. It has a projected budget in excess of USD$200,000,000.

Consisting of office, serviced apartment, commercial shopping mall and medium-rise residential development, the project occupies a full city block in Beijing and will incorporate extensive landscape works, exclusive sporting clubs and amenities.

The scale and massing of the individual building components were the subject of exhaustive computer modeling. There was particular emphasis placed on corner elements, views and climatic impacts. This has provided each component with clear identification while unifying the whole and minimising the perceived bulk of the development . It has also allowed view connections between street and internal courtyards.
