Brisbane Square

GHD was engaged to provide design, documentation and construction phase services for the building services at Brisbane Square, Queensland.

Brisbane Square is one of the largest commercial office developments in Queensland. The building comprises 37 storeys incorporating 55,000sq m of net lettable area. The design needed to provide a 23-level operating environment for the Brisbane City Council and incorporate facilities for the traffic management centre, data centres, library and council business units.

GHD is undertaking the design of the building services (electrical, mechanical, fire and ecological sustainable development) including the design of the performance-based smoke management solutions serving the vertically connecting levels within the Council’s occupancy space. Our scope included design of the ecologically sustainable elements to improve air quality including the outside air monitoring control interface of the economy cycle operation of the building's air handling plant.
