GHD provided detailed design, documentation and construction
phase services to the UniSA Centre for Regional Engagement at the
Mount Gambier TAFE SA campus.
The 400sq m single-storey building contained
reception, offices, wet laboratory, toilet and storage facilities.
In addition to the new building the project involved refurbishment
and fit out of a new nursing skills area designed to stimulate
real-world hospital conditions. The project also included design of
a new 70-space car park.
GHD’s work included structural, building services
and civil design.
The delivery of this project has provided the local
community with additional education facilities to cater for the
continued demand for these services in regional South
Australia.
