Specific Resources Sdn Bhd engaged GHD for an environmental audit of its gold mining activity in Penjom, Kuala Lipis, Pahang, Malaysia.

The scope of work includes assessment, investigation, gap analysis and compliance issues.

The audit involved compliance assessment to the company’s standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements and conditions of approval.

GHD provided recommendations for improvement of the gold mine activity and undertook a qualitative risk assessment to develop prioritised improvement on the environmental performance and compliance.
