GHD played an instrumental role in the development of Delfin’s Forest Gardens, one of Cairns’ most beautiful residential addresses set on the fringe of a World Heritage-listed rainforest.

The 1550-lot development was designed as a collection of distinct villages, each built around centrally located and fully landscaped neighbourhood parks, with community and recreational facilities.

The development comprised a range of allotments, a series of developed lakes and extensive landscaping, pathways and elevated lots that complement the beautiful location.

GHD provided engineering services, including detailed design and certification services, from Delfin’s first planning application. Master services plans for water supply, sewerage and also a complex hydrological model of the property were also prepared by GHD.
