GHD has been involved in delivering a wide range of engineering services to accommodate growth in the educational sector in Pahang state in Malaysia.

Yayasan Pahang engaged GHD to deliver civil, structural, mechanical and electrical services for the new Tanjung Lumpur Campus at Ikip College in Kuantan. Ikip College was established in 1992 and is fully owned by Yayasan Pahang. It comprises four campuses offering more than 30 government-recognised tertiary programs and 'twins' with local and international partner universities.

GHD worked on all project stages – preliminary, design, tender, construction and for the defect liability period.

Other notable GHD contributions included the design of pedestrian bridge at UNITEN Bandar Muadzam Shah Pahang, Rompin, and structural design for University Malaysia Pahang (library, civil engineering laboratory, faculty block and sports complex).
