The new Melbourne Met Sewer is part
of Melbourne Water’s planned major infrastructure replacement
program. This important piece of community infrastructure will
replace the existing 100-year old Melbourne Main Sewer. The new
sewer will service the CBD and surrounding area, including
Docklands and parts of Port Melbourne.
GHD coordinated a series of panels
depicting the route of the new sewer as well as images showing
before, during and post construction conditions. Melbourne Water
is using the panels during community consultation to explain
the project.
