Duyung Island is well known as a boat-building ground in Terengganu in Malaysia. You can watch boats being constructed by experienced boat builders whose skills have been passed down from generation to generation.

GHD provided civil, structural, mechanical and electrical consultancy services for the development of Duyung Island clubhouse and exhibition hall. 

The site is now used for the world renowned Monsoon Cup Yacht Competition.
