Our local team assisted in the development of a processing
plant expansion plan at Northparkes Mines.
The work required our team to conduct a throughput review for
the existing facilities and then provide engineering
services to assist with the pre-feasibility study. GHD also
led a team that produced a tailings strategy for the balance of the
mine life including in-pit tailings deposition.
We created the drafting services to support the underground mine
development team as they designed plant and equipment installations
throughout the E48 underground mine.
Our team also provided environmental engineering services to
Northparkes Mines throughout the year with particular focus on
documentation to gain modifications to the existing mine operating
plan.
