Shoalhaven City Council, New South Wales, engaged GHD to provide comprehensive project management, design, documentation and superintendent services for its new Entertainment Centre.

The Centre, designed in association with COX architects, will significantly contribute to the cultural needs of the rapidly growing Shoalhaven district community and will stand as a hub for entertainment and cultural opportunities in the area.

The building includes a main auditorium (933 theatre/530 dining seating), 12m deep stage, movable tier floor, two conference rooms, a 200-seat theatrette, commercial kitchen, specialist lighting and associated facilities. The design also allows for a restaurant.
