The TetraTrap unit has gone through various design changes to
improve its effectiveness and performance in relation to gross
pollutant capture and ability to remain hydraulically effective.
The TetraTrap developed by GHD on behalf of ACC Transport Asset
Group, is essentially a low maintenance cost filter unit that is
inserted into street catchpits over the outlet pipe to trap gross
pollutants washed off the carriageway in first flush and
moderate-to-heavy storm events.
