The Bundaberg Barrel is an iconic symbol of the traditional brewing methods of the famous Bundaberg Brewed Drinks factory. This new tourist facility reflects this concept, housed within a purpose-designed building shaped in the form of a traditional timber barrel.

As well as the unique barrel shaped building, design works included associated external roadworks, carparking and landscaping.

GHD, as principal consultant, arranged town planning approvals and delivered the concept and detailed design covering building, structural, civil and hydraulics, as well as construction phased management.
