Andy's varied project experience includes
multidisciplinary design leadership of the eastern end of the UK's
Channel Tunnel Rail Link, leadership of the concept development of
the new Kings Cross Thameslink Underground Station and acting as
the UK Rail Regulator's strategic advisor on Asset Knowledge
Management.
Andy's business leadership experience has included being the MD
of the multidisciplinary, multinational rail business of a major
European consultancy and co-founder of the successful international
strategic rail consultancy, CDL, recently acquired by GHD. These
roles have provided Andy with a clear understanding of the whole
life cycle, whole business challenges of building, running and
maintaining a successful railway system.
A Chartered Engineer and Chartered Director, Andy has worked in
the Middle East, Australia, the UK and Ireland and on projects in
locations including Africa, New Zealand and Eastern Europe. His 29
years in industry include over 20 years in rail.
