Russell has over 21 years' professional experience in
geotechnical and civil engineering and has three alliance projects
to his credit. He has significant experience in concept and
detailed design through to the delivery and on-site superintendence
of projects. As a geotechnical and pavements engineer he has
project-managed and designed new rural and urban roads,
rehabilitation, repair and reseal projects, as well as airport
runway construction. His experience includes the investigation and
design of new and existing embankments on soft soils, cutting
design and investigation of both soft and hard ground as the
responsible engineer and superintendent.
