Thor has 18 years of experience in the planning, design, and
construction management of water and wastewater systems. He
specialises in treatment facility design and plant operations,
having managed projects from study through design and construction
and ranging in size up to USD140 million in capital cost. Other
capabilities include enhanced biological nitrogen and phosphorus
removal, advanced wastewater treatment processes, headworks
facilities, membrane bioreactors, and solids stabilisation and
dewatering systems. Thor is a member of the International Water
Federation and the Water Environment Federation and has presented
papers on a wide variety of topics at local and international
conferences.
