Warning - fraudulent purchase orders
We have become aware of existing and potential GHD suppliers receiving fraudulent purchase orders purporting to come from GHD.
The fraudulent purchase order typically contains the GHD logo and other details to make it appear legitimate.
The scam seeks to have high-value goods delivered to the fraudster’s location. Once the goods are delivered, the supplier won’t receive any payment from the scammer.
While we cannot prevent fraudsters from falsely claiming to represent GHD, we recommend all suppliers to be vigilant when receiving purchase orders purporting to come from GHD.

What to look for
- Large quantities of high value items
- Urgency or requests for immediate shipping
- Incorrect email or website domain – legitimate domains are @ghd.com and @ghdwoodhead.com
- Delivery address is not a GHD office address (go to www.ghd.com and click Contact for our office details)
- Phone numbers not associated with GHD (go to www.ghd.com and click Contact for our office details)
- Trust your judgement: if something about the purchase order or the business transaction does not feel right, it probably is not right.
