TransGrid engaged GHD to convert and reuse an existing warehouse and carpark building to create an office space featuring modern convenience and industrial character.

TransGrid has proven that adaptive reuse of existing facilities is not only possible, but extremely desirable.

GHD’s interior design concepts and colours provided a fresh and welcoming feel, using lighting, colour and pattern to create a more ‘domestic’ atmosphere.

The design provides a variety of different spaces for its occupants, and offers a more relaxed environment for some of these areas including the reception, waiting area and breakout rooms. Lighting played a particularly important role in defining and differentiating areas and functions.
