Thank you Ashley Wright
GHD thanks Ashley Wright who is retiring from GHD after having served as CEO since 2016.
Under Ashley’s leadership, GHD has grown from an annual revenue of AUD 1.67 billion to 2.68 billion in 2023 while doubling profitability and successfully launched GHD’s Digital and Advisory businesses. Ashley charted a dynamic path forward with our sustainability-driven strategy designed to empower clients as they navigate an ever-evolving business climate, focusing on Future Energy, Future Communities and Future of Water.
The company has also achieved carbon neutrality for its Scope 1 and 2 emissions and is now developing science-based net zero targets, to further reduce Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
Jim Giannopoulos, incoming CEO, says, “It’s an honour and a great responsibility to take on this leadership role from Ashley. Ashley’s legacy will be felt for years to come as GHD continues to grow and help clients and communities around the world.”
Rob Knott, Chair, says, “After eight years of service as CEO and a 20-year career at GHD, Ashley’s impact has been profound.
