Scott Estergard. Army client lead, US Federal Sector

In this role, Scott will be responsible for developing and implementing Army Strategy, leading the business development efforts to win new contracts, and assuring successful delivery of Task Orders for our Army Clients. Scott brings over 29 years in water resource planning, engineering and environmental impact assessment for both Federal and municipal agencies.

His 18 years of federal service included 14 years with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers in the Los Angeles and Rock Island Districts, where he served as a lead planner for numerous water resource studies including basin wide and site-specific water resource projects.

For the last 12 years of his career, Scott has worked with the private sector in client engagement, capture and business development and project and program management in various management roles.

Scott speaks about the current challenges of the US Army and his excitement for joining GHD. ‘In Fiscal Year 2023 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a record $91B program delivering civil works, environmental and military projects; and roughly the same level of agency staffing as 30 years ago. GHD is well positioned to provide the environmental and engineering solutions to support USACE in meeting the current challenges and delivering lasting benefits.’
