Rob has more than 15 years’ experience as Board director of large companies with substantial global operations and their national subsidiaries. He has been Chair of GHD Group since 2017, and Chair of the GHD Foundation charity since 2020.

An Honorary Fellow of Engineers Australia, Rob has for more than 37 years both practiced and led as executive the growth of professional services consulting business in Australia, New Zealand, Chile, and the Philippines.
Passionate about employee ownership, Rob has played a key role in more than 20 successful acquisitions of employee-owned companies. As a result, GHD’s operations have globally diversified from their Australian heritage across the US, Canada, Asia Pacific, and the UK.
In 2021 Rob initiated the establishment of a specific ESG Committee of the Board to assist directors and the company to balance and navigate the rapidly changing expectations and governance around sustainability standards and reporting.
