GHD extends inclusion and diversity reach across all geographies

Global professional services company GHD welcomes new hires to its global Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) team. Joel Howell joins as Americas/EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) I&D Leader, and Coralee Fitzgibbon as APAC (Asia Pacific) I&D Leader, both reporting to Sadaf Parvaiz, Global Enterprise Inclusion & Diversity Leader. Parvaiz, based in Toronto, joined GHD in March 2021 as the firm’s inaugural head of I&D.

Joel and Coralee serve as strategic advisors for their respective territories working closely with leadership, employee resource groups, the Global I&D Council and People teams.

Sadaf comments, “These appointments represent GHD’s commitment to I&D by expanding the breadth and reach of our team. Joel and Coralee will align our regional efforts with our overall enterprise I&D strategy, while also providing regional input into global initiatives.”

Based in Tampa, Florida, Joel brings over 15 years of experience in HR and diversity leadership roles. Most recently from PWC, his expertise includes diversity and inclusion, HR strategy, employee engagement, coaching and speaking. Joel is passionate about inspiring a culture of belonging while encouraging others to be their authentic selves.

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Coralee brings with her a background in psychology, people experience and analytics. She was previously the Diversity and Inclusion Lead at the Bank of New Zealand. She’s passionate about creating an inclusive environment where all people can thrive.
