GHD, a leading professional services company, has secured three significant port master planning contracts in North America. The contracts span port facilities in Benicia, California; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Seattle, Washington.
The Port of Benicia Facilities and Infrastructure Modernization contract encompasses infrastructure assessment, decarbonization planning and capital improvement strategies. This comprehensive 18-month project will support the port's sustainability goals while enhancing the city’s zoning and design regulations to foster a green economy.
The Port of New Orleans 2025 Master Plan Update focuses on strategic assessment, cargo synthesis and market analysis for both industrial real estate and cruise sectors. The 12-month engagement includes development of a correlated master plan for the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad.
The Port of Seattle Planning Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract involves capital planning, stakeholder engagement and project development over a 36-month period. This work will support the Port's long-term growth and development objectives in coordination with the Northwest Seaport Alliance.
