GHD named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers

GHD has been named as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2023, as announced today by the competition organizers. The national award, now in its 23^rd year, evaluates companies against other organizations in their field and recognizes those who offer the most progressive and forward-thinking programs for their employees.

GHD went above and beyond to support its employees during the pandemic, encouraged teams to collaborate working from their preferred work locations, and  added provisions  for mental and physical health and other perks. GHD also partnered with specialty vendors for disability and grow-your-family support, including fertility treatment and medication coverage in the benefits package for all employees.

Participant organizations are evaluated against eight criteria, including physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

The national award adds to GHD’s record of recognitions for attracting and retaining quality talent in Canada. GHD has been named twice as one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers, in 2019 and 2020 and was named one of Canada’s Top Employer for Young People in 2020.
