GHD chosen to support Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority in Louisiana

GHD has been awarded a contract by the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) to provide Environmental Science and Related Consulting Services in support of the state’s Comprehensive Master Plan for a Sustainable Coast.

We are thrilled to announce that GHD has been awarded the contract for Environmental Science and Related Consulting Services by the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA). The CPRA, Louisiana’s lead agency for coastal restoration and protection, has engaged us to support their mission of implementing the state’s Comprehensive Master Plan for a Sustainable Coast.

The project involves conducting environmental assessments and developing effective restoration plans to strengthen the resilience of Louisiana’s coastal ecosystems against natural and human-induced threats. With a focus on protecting biodiversity, the project will develop plans to preserve and restore critical habitats for various species, ensuring the protection of biodiversity in the region. The project will involve local communities in the restoration efforts, providing education and raising awareness about the importance of coastal protection.
