GHD strengthens Southeast Asia leadership with key appointments in infrastructure advisory and investment
Global professional services company GHD has announced two key leadership appointments that signal its Bold Growth ambition across Southeast Asia. Tara Herley has been appointed Business Group Leader, Infrastructure Advisory - Southeast Asia, and Jason Fonti takes on the role of Head of Infrastructure Investment & Capital Projects - APAC.
Jason and Tara join Jason Tok, Country Manager - Singapore and Regional Market Leader - Southeast Asia, who has established GHD’s Singapore presence over the past 5 years.
Tara will lead the expansion of GHD’s Advisory services across Southeast Asia, drawing on her extensive experience in the APAC infrastructure sector. Her background spans transport, energy, resources and digital and technology, with a focus on strategy, stakeholder engagement, and delivery.
We’re seeing a surge in investor appetite across Southeast Asia, and by leveraging our extensive international experience and local knowledge, we’re ready to help clients translate ambition into action,” said Tara Herley. “By connecting global capital with Southeast Asia opportunity, we’re helping shape infrastructure that delivers long-term value for communities."
Jason brings over two decades of experience advising on strategy, infrastructure transactions and capital projects, advising both public and private sector clients. Having spent recent years with GHD’s North American business, he has built strong relationships with investor clients across global markets.
"Singapore’s role as a financial, policy and innovation hub makes it the natural home for investors and advisors driving the next wave of growth in the region,” said Jason Fonti. “We’re building a capability that enables clients to deploy capital with confidence, combining technical depth, commercial insight, and global reach to deliver outcomes that matter."
The appointments come as GHD accelerates its growth strategy in Southeast Asia, expanding its footprint and deepening relationships with infrastructure investors and government stakeholders at a time when governments and investors are seeking new models to deliver complex projects and unlock capital. The firm is focused on supporting clients across the full lifecycle of infrastructure delivery, from strategy and investment readiness through to execution and optimisation.
"Jason and Tara’s appointments mark a step-change in our ambition,” said Nick Pohl, APAC Business Advisory Leader. “We’re investing in leadership that reflects the scale of opportunity in Southeast Asia and our intent to be the partner of choice for our infrastructure investor clients across APAC.”
