NAVFAC Pacific P-923 MV-22 Landing pad, parking apron and wash/rinse facilities
GHD’s has been awarded a Task Order for the NAVFAC Pacific P-923 MV-22 Landing Pad, Parking Apron and Wash/Rinse Facilities at The Royal Australian Air Force Base in Darwin, Australia.
This win was achieved together with our joint venture partners, Setiadi Architects and Kaula Engineers. With a US client and project location in Australia, this Task Order will have a joint delivery team working collaboratively from several US and Australian regions. The Task Order was issued under our indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (IDIQ) for architect-engineer services on various base infrastructure projects, and other projects primarily under the oversight of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific in their area of operations.
The work to be performed includes:
- Site visits/engineering investigations
- Design of the landing pad, parking apron and wash facilities
- Design of utility systems to support the overall MV22 program
- Design of utility buildings, substations, booster pump station and wastewater pump station
- Achievement of sustainable design goals and requirements both US and Australian
- Environmental and construction permitting
Work will be performed in Darwin, Australia, and is expected to be completed by June 2024
