As the UK prepares to spend GBP 100 billion on new energy sources by 2030, global professional services company GHD is hosting its first UK Technical Conference in Manchester on 20-22 November, focusing specifically on the opportunities in the water and energy markets.

More than 100 of the company’s technical leaders from around the world will gather at the event to share innovative ideas, accelerate knowledge-sharing and harness collaboration. Sessions and workshops will explore the economic, regulatory and technological challenges facing the energy and water markets and how GHD can support our clients to tackle some of the issues that are visible now, but also longer term.

“The UK is a priority market for GHD, with significant investment in modernising water and energy infrastructure. Every year we hold three technical conferences to bring our people together in person. This is the first time we are holding one in the UK as part of our commitment to providing technical excellence where it matters most,” says Kevin Eyers, Regional General Manager UK.

“Hosting a Technical Conference is a privilege, and it’s been so gratifying to see so many global colleagues join us in Manchester with their technical excellence in hand.

“This event will be a platform for clients and global experts to connect, share insights, and co-create solutions tailored to local challenges. It reinforces GHD’s role as a trusted engineering and consulting partner for our clients.”
