Warren Traves

With an impressive career of more than 35 years at GHD, Warren's global leadership in our industry and the water sector has seen him executing winning strategies and achieving considerable success across a range of roles. His deep experience encompasses a wide range of operational and commercial positions including Regional General Manager – South Queensland and Global Market Leader – Water. He has been a long-time member of the Board’s Risk Committee.

Based in Brisbane, Australia, Warren has extensive experience in risk management, commercial project management, technical services, sustainability and health and safety.

Warren holds an Honours degree in Civil Engineering and Master of Engineering Science from the University of Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Municipal Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program from Mt Eliza Business School. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Fellow of Engineers Australia. He also chairs the Board of Trustees of Brisbane Grammar School and is a Life Member of the University of Queensland Sports Association.
