The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District solicited the services of Architect-Engineer teams for implementing their civil works programs. With improving the Nation’s security as a guiding principle, the Corps’ mission is energizing the economy and reducing risks from disasters. Projects include planning and engineering of military facilities, maintaining and expanding federal waterways, protecting and restoring the environment, managing water resources, responding to hurricanes and floods, operating dams & reservoirs, and providing regulatory oversight of stream & wetland permitting. These projects require exceptional technical capabilities of a highly experienced and collaborative team.

GHD was selected to perform a scope of services that include planning, surveying, modeling, geotech, and design. The contract will include the design of civil works features involving investigations/studies, design services related to new construction, upgrade, maintenance and repair of various facilities, infrastructure systems and related components.

GHD was awarded a $15 million, 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) primarily for civil works projects located in the South Atlantic Division and Savannah District.
