One of the world’s leading engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services companies, GHD has recently welcomed two new team members in Auckland, New Zealand: Stuart Trounson and Simon Gough as it strengthens its innovative service offering in the asset management sector.
Simon has 23 years’ experience spanning asset management, operations and maintenance management and capital project delivery. Prior to joining GHD, Simon fulfilled the role as Team Leader, Asset Systems for Auckland Transport, where he implemented fundamental changes to the existing asset systems and business processes within the organisation, and initiated numerous data and database improvement projects.
With more than 10 years in asset management, Stuart has experience in asset data analysis, data management and maintenance contract management, most recently fulfilling the role of Asset Engineer, where he was coordinating asset management activities for Auckland Transport’s Northern road corridor network.
Carey Morris, National Leader – GHD Advisory, says, “Our Auckland Asset Management team provides a range of effective and innovative solutions to drive efficiencies and growth for our clients. Its strength in this field and innovative approach to projects was highlighted by the successful implementation of the Renewals Forward Works Programme (RFWP) Management System for Auckland Transport.”
Developed in collaboration with the client, as a bespoke solution embedded within the existing RAMM asset management information system, this is the first 'live' pavement forward works programme in New Zealand. It now manages in excess of NZD100 million of renewals activities across the network.
Benefits of the RFWP system include tracking of detailed intelligence on programmed pavement renewals works, insights into programme delivery and enabling downstream spatial and analytical opportunities.
