At 18, Jason Ross' life changed forever when a car accident left him unable to walk again. Undaunted, he became the first quadriplegic to graduate with a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Auckland. Recently, Jason shared his story with Stuff, aiming to encourage others with similar injuries.

An Associate at GHD, Jason highlighted the company's supportive and inclusive culture, “When I've been unwell, they've been supportive, I never get any pressure to come back to work when unwell and I enjoy doing what I studied hard for."

The reason for telling my story was to show people with similar injuries that you can still achieve what you started or wanted to achieve and you still can set yourself goals."
