GHD has been honoured by Consult Australia, an organisation representing Australia’s built and natural environment consultants, for delivering projects that demonstrate technical excellence across the lifecycle of its clients’ assets, including design, construction and divestment.
Advising on one of Australia’s largest infrastructure transactions
GHD Advisory won the External Stakeholder Engagement Award for its technical due diligence role on the 51 percent sale of the Sydney Motorway Corporation. The team was engaged to identify any material technical, engineering, asset condition and commercial risks that may impact the sale.
“This project exemplified true collaboration, not only across GHD, including people across five offices in 12 disciplines, but also with key stakeholders such as New South Wales Treasury, Sydney Motorways Corporation, the Due Diligence Committee and other deal advisors,” Jason Fonti, GHD Advisory’s Project Director, said.
Exceptional healthcare design
GHDWoodhead received the Client Service Excellence Award for its work on the Medical Day Unit and Renal Dialysis Unit at Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The project transformed dark, cramped spaces into exceptional new facilities that meet the needs of patients, clinicians and broader stakeholders.
Karlie Ramm, Senior Capital Project Manager for Major Capital Works at the Women’s and Children’s Health Network, said, “GHDWoodhead demonstrates a genuine passion for the projects they deliver in healthcare. Their attention to detail with careful consideration to incorporate clinicians and consumers feedback in the design plays a pivotal role.”
Creating the construction site of the future
GHD Digital was highly commended in the ‘Best Technological Innovation’ category of the Consult Australia Awards.
The team created a comprehensive Connected Infrastructure methodology and solution that was most recently applied in a AUD15 billion construction program to collect real time insights from construction sites and share this information with 4000 delivery partners, demonstrating the value digital disruption can deliver for the construction industry.
