What does it take deliver the world’s largest lithium ion battery?
Ask Jennie Burdeniuk, GHD’s Senior Electrical Engineer in Adelaide, who has been awarded for providing excellent client service to Neoen.
Jennie Burdeniuk has won GHD’s 2018 Client Service Award in Australia, for her work on the Hornsdale Windfarm and Hornsdale Power Reserve projects in South Australia.
Working together with client Neoen, Jennie has been an integral part of the success in Hornsdale, beginning with the Hornsdale Windfarm project in 2015 and culminating in December 2017 with the completion of the much publicised Hornsdale Power Reserve project. These projects became the centre of world-leading innovation in renewable energy as Neoen partnered with Tesla to deliver the world’s largest lithium ion battery at Hornsdale.
By earning the client’s trust and respect, and always acting in their best interests, Jennie was promoted to Project Manager during the project.

Jennie’s excellent client service has resulted in additional projects between Neoen and GHD, with plans to begin work on the Bulgana Wind Farm in Stawell, Victoria in the coming weeks.
