Employee-owned professional services company, GHD, has appointed Dr Paul Quinn as Air and Noise Modeller.
Based in the UK, Paul will join GHD’s environmental team, working with clients on all aspects of air and noise management across multiple sectors. Paul brings more than a decade of experience in global consultancy, specialising in resources and infrastructure projects.
Prior to joining GHD, Paul worked as a Senior Environmental Scientist at Earth Systems where he prepared air quality and noise impact models for multiple projects including the Kampala-Jinja Expressway in Uganda. His previous experience includes consulting to the Australian Government, conducting a major study of the Western Australian goldfields mining region and the Geelong Refinery.
With a PhD in Atmospheric Physics Paul has undertaken extensive doctorate and post doctorate research, including a five year study of global ozone data and the first detection of ground-level ozone from space. His research has been published in the Journal of Environmental Monitoring.
Paul says, “Providing specialist advice in air quality and noise impact management can help to mitigate the impact of industrial, mining and infrastructure projects on nearby communities.
