One of the world’s leading engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services companies, GHD, will share ideas for more efficient, productive and cost-effective water assets at OzWater 2015, Australia’s leading water conference and exhibition in Adelaide on 12-14 May.
Chris Hertle, GHD’s Australian Market Leader – Water, says, “Across the water sector, our clients are seeking to make the most of their existing assets. As they rethink their capital expenditure, they are looking for smarter and more efficient ways of using the systems and infrastructure they already have.
“At OzWater 2015, we will be showcasing the variety of ways GHD is helping clients respond to these issues, including more efficient and affordable wastewater treatment, reduced water losses and optimised performance.
“Water is no longer the barbeque stopper it was a few years’ ago during the drought. But water has not lost any of its importance for either our public or private sector clients, who are looking for innovative solutions that balance the water needs of communities, industries and the environment.”
GHD is also proud to sponsor the Water Leaders’ Forum, which will bring together CEOs and senior executives across the industry to discuss and debate current and emerging challenges. Participants include the Hon. Willem Rudolf Westra van Holthe, NT Minister for Essential Services; Katrina Groshinski, Minter Ellison Partner; Peter Moore, COO Water Corporation; Mark Watson, CEO Water Utilities Group; and Chris Loughlin, CEO of South West Water, UK.
In addition, GHD will join other industry leaders at an innovation workshop to be held as part of OzWater. GHD will share its innovation and commercialisation experiences, which include helping clients realise new ideas as well as bringing to market its own innovations, such as water treatment (StormDMT) and pump efficiency (PumpCheckr) technologies.
OzWater is organised by the Australian Water Association.
